Description
A Simulator Technician will posses practical and theoretical knowledge required in the simulator environment. Such knowledge includes, but is not limited to, proficiency in analog/digital theorems and techniques at a level to include some design capabilities, system concepts on computer systems, linkage, data storage devices and peripheral equipment, proficiency in software language manipulation, skills necessary for system troubleshooting, remodeling and trainer enhancements, proficiency in hardware/software and electronics.
Field Support Engineer (CLS Team)
This role is for a Maintenance Engineer, to join the 3 person team GD Team providing operational and maintenance support contributing to operation of a full motion flight simulator facility. This facility is operated by our customer and is located on-site with their customer in RNAS Yeovilton. The candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern with the other GD maintenance technicians to provide overall support for the period 05.30 hours through to 23.00 hours. Occasional work outside these hours may be required for corrective maintenance and the shift patterns will be adjusted accordingly. To comply with Health and Safety requirements there may be a need for the candidate to undergo a medical examination (this includes routine medicals if considered a necessity for their role) or undergo tests. On the job training will be provided in the UK at Yeovilton.

JOB DUTIES
